What is MAFI Flatbed?
MAFI Flatbed is a relatively common ro-ro cargo transportation tool. The Maffei tractor can be driven in both directions. There are two two-stage hydraulic cylinders under the gooseneck device to lift, and it can also be passively rotated. MAFI Flatbed is generally used for pushing the Maffei board.
The gooseneck device on the head of the MAFI tractor must be raised slightly to ensure the horizontal towing (some Maffei heads are also attached with chains and the Maffei plate). In order to ensure the safety of operation and improve the adhesion and thrust of the driving wheel of the Maffei tractor, the jacking method must be used when getting on and off the bridge slope, and towing is not allowed, that is, the head of the Maffei tractor is in a low position to ensure normal operation and safety.
